Discount Destroyer!

This is my submission for Brackey's 2025.1!

NOTE: I'm aware of an issue with the audio. If the sound gets to scratchy or loud, please try the game with the audio muted. I will fix it after the jam ends since I don' want to touch the submission while the jam is still running. The option is on the main menu. Have fun!

The theme this time was "Nothing can go wrong" so I made a game where EVERYTHING can and will go wrong!

You bought a space ship at a STEEP discount and it seems like a nice time to take her for a spin. There's no major wars or anything going on and the gun seems to work. She even comes with some bombs! You're sure everything'll be fine.

It's a space shooter where your gun can jam, your bombs can be duds and sometimes the powerups just don't work. Enemy ships don't seem to have these problems though...
